6/17 and Championship Meet Info
SV Sea Dragons,
Please read the info below to be prepared for our meet on Tuesday at Sonoma Ranch as well as Championships!!
- Champs Meet - We will compete in the Division 1 championship meet against Boerne, Mountain Lodge, and Sonoma Ranch on Saturday, June 28. Everyone qualifies to swim in this meet, and we need everyone to be there!!! We still have several who have not submitted a Yes or No RSVP, so please do that today if you have not already. Coach Kari and I will send more info next week, but plan to be at Palo Alto Natatorium at 7:30 AM and be done at approximately noon on 6/28. If you want a Champs meet t-shirt, they must be pre-ordered by the end of practice on Thursday, June 19, by filling out the attached form and putting it with cash/check in the Team Manager folder at practice.
- Sonoma Ranch Meet - Please plan to be at the Sonoma Ranch subdivision pool by 3:45 PM on Tuesday, June 17. I know it's early, but the meet will start at 5:00, and this is another 5 lane pool. They are estimating that we will be done around 10:00. The pool address is 170 Ruidosa Downs, Helotes, 78023. It will take at least 45 minutes to get there from our area, so please plan accordingly!! Parking is VERY limited, so carpooling is encouraged! Parking is allowed on the South side of the street only (same side as the pool), and please observe the no parking areas. They are asking that swim team members and families not be in the sand volleyball, basketball, or tennis courts or in the playground area. We are their guests, so please take care to follow the rules!!
- Volunteers - We still need a few volunteers for this meet and the championship meet, so please check our website (link below) and sign up if you can help out!! I will email volunteers for this meet separately to let you know what time to be there.
- Check In - Please find me when you get to the pool to let us know that you are present! I will either be near the team tents or near the entrance. Anyone who doesn't check in will be pulled from relays!!
- Meet Entries - Our team entries are posted on the Swim Meet page of our team website (link below). I will email the heat sheet when we receive it from Sonoma Ranch - hopefully tomorrow.
We are halfway through our season, and the Sea Dragons are undefeated!! Let's give a solid performance on Tuesday and stay that way!!
