June 21 Meet Info
SV Sea Dragons,
Our last dual swim meet for this season is on Saturday at SVHS against Mountain Lodge - Please read the info below!!
Reminder - We will have our end of season party and awards ceremony on Sunday, June 29 from 3:00-6:00 at SVHS. Every swimmer will receive an award, and we will have dinner and cake afterwards. Please RSVP on the website or send me an email to let me know if you are coming so that we know how many people to expect!
Time - Please plan to be at SVHS by 7:15 or earlier on Saturday if you volunteered for the set up crew. The meet starts at 9:00 and we warm up at 7:45. The north gate off of Smithson Valley Road is the only one open on the weekends. We should be done by 1:00.
Volunteers - I will send a separate note to those who volunteered for this meet. Please let me know ASAP if you can't fill your volunteer slot!!
Check in - Our team will set up on the tennis courts next to the pool, so please send your swimmers there to check in and sit with their age groups. We will send out the heat sheet on Friday, so please write your swimmers events on their arms prior to arriving at the meet if possible.
Seating - After you check in, we will direct your swimmer to sit with their age group in a designated area on the tennis courts. Families can set up chairs outside the fence between the pool and the school either upstairs or downstairs. We will reserve the space inside the fence around the pool for swimmers, officials, and volunteers. There are limited viewing areas around the pool, so we will have space by the fence and the upstairs railing marked off for walkways and for parents to watch their swimmers race. Please do not move the ropes.
Parking - We will have the spaces by the pool house blocked off for those who are bringing in equipment for the meet and concessions, so please park in the parking lot. Please do not park between the tennis courts and the football stadium. The restrooms at the football stadium are the only ones we have, so there will be kids going back and forth across the parking lot.
Go Sea Dragons!
Thanks,
Sharon
