SV Sea Dragons,

First I would like to thank Kari for her years of coaching our team.  She has been fun to work with and is a great coach and mentor to our kids.  She will certainly be hard to replace, and we will miss seeing her smiling face on deck!!

We are looking for a new head coach, and I have talked to a few people about the job, but the team has other challenges this year too.  Several people have volunteered their time over the past few years to fill key positions to make this team so successful.  Unfortunately, as our kids get older, it gets more difficult for them to make time for summer swim.  We will need to fill several of these volunteer spots this year, and I don't think it's in our best interest to open registration until we know we have enough leadership for this season.  At a minimum, we will need a scorekeeper, stroke and turn judges, a volunteer coordinator, and a team manager. 

If you are interested in filling any of these positions, please let me know.  Don't worry - you don't have to do it alone!!  I will be around to help, and our league president wanted to make sure you know that we have her support and that she can help too.  If we don't have enough leadership volunteers by April 1, we may have to skip this season, and I know we would all hate to see that happen.
