Good morning, Sea Dragons families!

We are so excited for our CHAMPS meet tomorrow morning! Please read this email in it's entirety, as it contains ALL the info you need for a great meet tomorrow.

First of all, we are still in need of volunteers for tomorrow's meet. We MUST fill all of our volunteer positions in order for our team to swim tomorrow, so please log in and volunteer. 

The Southwest ISD Aquatic Center is located next to Christa McAuliffe Middle School. The address is 9290 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX. 78242. It has a small parking lot with handicap parking in front of the building. Most cars will park behind the natatorium in the Christa McAuliffe MS parking lots. 

CHECK IN: We will begin checking in swimmers at 6:50 in front of the natatorium. All swimmers must be checked in by 7:30. Volunteers need to check in as well and receive their wristbands and tags, which allows deck entry. 

At 7:30, our coaches and ready bench volunteers will escort our swimmers to our team seating area. 

Warm-Ups  8:00-8:30, younger pool lanes 1-10

Meet begins at 9:00. Our approximate finish time is noon. 

Team Seating: ALL swimmers will be inside on the deck. There is team seating inside the natatorium with signs designating team areas. The league is asking teams to split into two areas: 10U swimmers on the far left side (near the 10U competition pool) and 11-18 swimmers on the far right side. We know it is inconvenient to not all be together, but this keeps our younger swimmers close to their competition pool and keeps things running smoothly

Parents and spectators will enter through the front doors of the natatorium starting at 7:30. Please be advised of the following:

• SWISD enforces a clear bag policy for all parents and spectators. Swimmers and coaches ON DECK are not included in the clear bag policy. 
• Wagons and strollers are NOT permitted due to lack of space. 
• Only volunteers with wristbands and tags will be permitted down on deck and into team seating area. Swimmers are NOT allowed upstairs. 
• There will be no concessions at SWISD, but a food truck will be available outside: https://www.bestfoodtrucks.com/truck/maldonado-s-g...
• Swimmers should be prepared with snacks and water to have on deck with them. 
• Our coaches will be on the deck poolside to give feedback after races. They are NOT allowed behind the blocks, so it is critical that swimmers are listening to volunteers and following directions to line up and get ready for races. 
• Our volunteers will be taking care of all swimmers on deck, preparing them for their races, and getting them lined up. If you would like to volunteer, please do!
• I will send the heat sheet as soon as I receive notification from the league that it is ready. 
• Volunteer emails will be sent this evening.
