    Meet #2 Information

    Good evening!

    We are so excited for our next meet. While this is a virtual meet and "solo" for us, Sonoma Ranch and Heights of Stone Oak are great competitors, so I am very excited for some great swimming in our home pool!

    You are receiving this message because your swimmer is entered into 1 or more events for Tuesday. Please read this information carefully so that you are fully prepared.

    • Please arrive at SV no later than 3:45
    • Check in under the ORANGE TENT with the volunteers. If you do not check in with the volunteers at the orange tent by 4:15, we will assume you are absent and you will be removed from your events.The check in tent will also have a cap for your swimmer if you haven't picked one up yet.
    • Warm-ups begin at 4:15. Swimmers need to have caps and goggles on and be ready to warm up at 4:15. Coaches will call age groups for warm ups.
    • Meet begins at 5:00.
    • Unfortunately, we are NOT able to have concessions at this meet. CISD does not allow that this year with our contract. Please plan accordingly and pack plenty of snacks and WATER for you and for your swimmer! 
    • Parents and swimmers can set upstairs under the overhang and around the fenced area. 
    • NO PARKING in the area immediately next to the pool. Please park in the main lot or the lot next to the pool. The parking spaces by the pool will be for loading/unloading only. 
    • ATTACHMENTS: If you are new to us, or need a refresher, I have attached a document that helps you prepare for the meet. It lets you know what to bring and how to "mark up" your swimmer for their events. Also attached is the athlete check in sheet, which lists each child alphabetically and the events they are swimming. This will help you find your child on the heat sheet more easily. Lastly, the heat sheet is attached. You will use this to "mark up" your child before the meet (see preparing for a meet attachment) and also to follow along as the meet progresses.
    • If you signed up to volunteer for this meet, you will receive another separate reminder email shortly.

    Lastly, we still need the following volunteers for this meet:

    • 2 x second half bench starters
    • 1 x second half event counter
    • 1 x second half head timer
    • 5 x second half timers
