Hello Sea Dragons!

I have had several families ask me for these dates, so I thought I'd send them out to everyone for planning purposes. 

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET WILL BE SATURDAY, JUNE 24. 

ALL STARS MEET WILL BE FRIDAY, JUNE 30.

Both of these will be larger meets with MANY families, so they will be held at SWISD Natatorium, which is on the southside of San Antonio. It is quite a drive for us, but is a brand new facility, and will give the kids a great opportunity to swim in a "fancy" pool. 

For those that are new to us..

The Championship Meet is where we compete against all the other teams in our division- which is usually a total of about 4-5 teams competing, including us. ALL swimmers can participate and are encouraged to participate. The more swimmers we have, the more chances we have to score points. All you have to do is RSVP like you would for a regular meet- no other qualifications!

All-Stars is a meet that swimmers qualify for AT CHAMPS. The 1st place racer for each event at champs qualifies for all-stars, as well as the next 8 fastest times from all the division meets together. This means that you MUST swim at CHAMPS to have the opportunity to qualify for All-Stars. 

MSSL has not offered these meets since prior to covid. Those that were with us then can attest to the fact that these meets are a LOT of fun and the medals are so awesome for winners!

More information will be coming out later, but if you haven't planned your vacation yet, wait until after June 30 so that you can join us for Champs and All-Stars!
