Good evening, Sea Dragons

What a blessing it was to see so many of you at practice today!!! I want to give a HUGE shout out to our coaches for giving all of our kids a great first day of practice. Every kid in attendance was IN the pool- that must be a new record! Also, a HUGE thank you to our older swimmer volunteers: Eva, Finley, and Konner! We appreciate your time and patience with our littles!

If you have an older child that would like to volunteer their time during practices, we can use any and all help. We would like to have at least 1 older student volunteer in each lane each day, but especially on Wednesdays. Show up with your suit, cap and goggles if you'd like to student volunteer!

Parents, we would like to thank you for your patience as we work out the kinks of our practice schedule. We created the schedule before we knew final age group numbers and we thought it would work. It is clear that our younger groups are larger and cannot be overlapped. Therefore, effective tomorrow, we will begin a new time schedule:

We believe this new schedule will give everyone more focused time in the pool. Thank you for understanding that we just have your swimmer's safety in mind!

Lastly, please have your swimmer lined up by the gate ready to swim with cap and goggles 5 minutes before their group time starts. We will be checking swimmers in this week, like today, but we want them checked in prior to start time so they can truly swim for their entire allotted time. 
If you have read this far and have read all of my emails, you have learned that they are full of information. We try to keep communication to emails weekly, but as we get settled, you can probably expect an email nightly.
