Good Evening Sea Dragons Parents!

Thank you for joining us this season. Practices are going very well so far, and coaches are excited for the season. We have over 130 swimmers this year! This email comes with several reminders and updates, so I apologize for the lengthiness. 

T-SHIRT SIZES: I need t-shirt sizes for all swimmers. If you have not connected with me personally, I will be at practice tomorrow from 5-5:30 and Saturday during suit sales (9-12). If you prefer, you can email me your swimmer's shirt size. 

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS: Sign-ups are FINALLY available! Thank you for being patient as I work through the new web platform. I've attached a document with instructions for how to sign-up. Remember, your responsibility is to sign up for TWO slots PER SWIMMER. Season-long positions fulfill your family's requirements. All job descriptions are online on the sign-ups. Thank you to Rebekah Sechrist for being our Volunteer Coordinator! She is your go-to gal for questions about jobs and requirements. 

DATES to REMEMBER:

May 12- D&J Sports is coming to SVHS from 9 am- 12 noon to sell team suits and gear. If you have a suit from last year that fits, you may wear it. If you do not have a suit, come Saturday to try on and purchase the correct size. You will also be able to purchase goggles and other swim gear. 

May 12 @ 2:00- Judges Clinic for Stroke and Turn Judges- WE NEED AT LEAST 7 PARENTS TO SIGN UP AND TAKE THIS TRAINING. We are required to provide at least 3 judges at every meet, so if we have 7, we can rotate. This is a season-long job, but you have the best seat in the house and all training is provided free!

May 15- Tshirt orders due- Order forms AND payment are due. This is for EXTRA shirts for parents, grandparents, or siblings. Swimmer shirts are already included.

May 15- Last day for Sponsorships- Please email me if your business is interested in sponsoring our team!

May 17- PICTURE DAY- This will take place during practice time- 4:30-5:30. Order forms are passed out at practice Friday 5/11 and Saturday 5/12 during suit sales.
